Summits to climb

Climb on foot, on snowshoes, on touring skis, or even by cable car to get to Cîme Caron: everyone has their own personal motivation for making the journey, but once they get up there, the mix of emotions is the same: grateful in the face of so much unexpected beauty, pride at having taken on a challenge, freedom and levity at the vast horizon stretching out before you, revealing stunning landscapes: Les 3 Vallées, the Vanoise and Lozière mountain ranges, Mont-Blanc and the Ecrins mountain chain in the distance, fabulous!

Sommet du Quermoz

Summits in Coeur de Tarentaise

IT’S EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL SEEN FROM ABOVE!

Pointe de la Masse

LA POINTE DE LA MASSE

Opening in winter 2021/2022, the Masse gondola lift is one of the fastest in France! It's a new feature not to be missed!

For an immersive and sensational experience, try the glass-floored cabins. The journey lasts 8 minutes and will propel you up 1000m (2803m altitude!). Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the lakes below and the nearby glaciers.

On arrival, the view is incredible. There's a large panoramic terrace with a 360° view of the peaks (Cheval Noir, Grande Casse, Cîme Caron, Aiguille du Fruit and others further afield: Mont Blanc, the Grandes Jorasses or the Écrins mountain range...).

So, are you ready for a little sunbathing on the deckchairs?

Nearby, the wooden ibex, the emblem of Les Menuires, awaits you for a souvenir photo.

On arrival, there are 2 options: the lakes circuit between ridges and high-altitude lakes, or the path back to Les Menuires via the magnificent Lou valley.
